Any Weight Watchers members here?

I'm a lifetime WW member and have recently purchased the Flex, which I LOVE!  I also have an Activelink, but have not worn it since I got my Flex.  I'm thinking I'm going to cancel that subscription.  I'm just wondering how other WW'ers convert your calories burned into points.

I'm also a lifetime WW member and enter my steps into the activity tracker on the WW site. I use the all day setting and then can see how many activity points I've earned for the day.

Thanks Sherrie!  I will do that.  Having worn an Activelink I know that until you reach your "baseline" you don't start earning ap's, so it will have to be an experiment.  I haven't been real good at tracking my points lately anyhow and may just lean towards calories and only track here.

I am a WW member in that I have a monthly pass and attend meetings when I can. But as for actually tracking.......oops. Woman Embarassed

When I was tracking though I just tended to ignore activity points because I think it is too easy to overestimate them.

I totally agree on overestimating activity points.  That was the good thing about the Activity Link, but I really have no desire to contine on with it.

I have a friend that has the ActiveLink and a Fitbit. She finds the Fitbit to be more motivating and is going to cancel the ActiveLink at the end of the year. I've only had a Fitbit and love it. As far as activity points, I like knowing how many I've earned but don't use them.

You know, the Activelink has never once been mentioned at a meeting. I'm thinking it hasn't made it's way over to the UK. Can't believe you have to pay a subscription for it either, on top of paying for WW! Woman Mad

For calories you can use:  calories divided by 80

It's not an offiical WW way but someone math smart figured it out. Before Points Plus it was divide by 100.

Since I got the Force I just use the all day steps on the WW site. I don't use my APs just WPs. Maybe one day when I am super active I might need to use both 😉

I got my Fitbit on Nov 3 and have lost each week really close to what Fitbit said I should, the most it was off was .4 lbs. Except Thanksgiving week where I didn't log things accurately.  Before I got Fitbit I used a HRM.

I wanted to add that I have 3.7 lbs more to go before I make it into my "normal" BMI so WW is working and the Fitbit along with the info is keeping me in check.

There is a WW group here as well. They are working on it so we can go back to posting

I had the AL for about 3 months. It did not motivate me like fitbit does.

That 80 Calorie thing is for a Person with and HRM. Its more accurate that fitbit is for Calories burned during exercise only

Yes, the Fitbit is much more motivating that my Activelink!  I wore a bodybugg a couple years ago for quite awhile and really liked it but got tired of having that think on my arm all the time, and having to pay a subscription fee.  The AL fee is $5.00 and was worth it but not anymore.

What're the "all day steps" on WW? I too am on WW and just got the Fitbit Flex almost a week ago, not sure yet if I'll keep it. It's not so great for my strength training/weights days.

HRM is best for Weight Training

All Day steps can be entered a the bottom of the tracker. Some people do, some dont.

I do not its doesnt bring my heartrate up for all day stepping.  I would not eat those AP because of it. I eat all my AP's

I just started WWs again about a week and a half ago. I have only lost 1.6 lbs, but I think that is to be expected. lol. I just got my Fitbit Flex today in the mail, and am so excited. I have had the fitbit account for a little while though and was being bad about logging in things. I do good for a little bit then I just seem to get burnt out on things. I hate that I am excited at first and then I feel like it gets old beause I am not seeing the results I want even though I really do try. Another thing is that I have a hard time NOT eating out. I need to try to avoid most restaurants unless I really really want something. I live mostly by myself as my mom is gone most of the week to her job then home on the weekends, but my fiance comes over about 2 days out of the week and sometimes it is hard to try to eat in most of the day.

I too am a WW member. And I find my self not always entering my food or activity points.  I'm trying to get back into it. Lost 5 lbs and then gained them back because I stopped tracking.. The holidays are not helping. The fitbit has been great at keeping focused. and moving.
