Anyone Using a Nutritional Kitchen Scale?

I've started recording my daily food intake and it gets easier every day as you set up favorites and create meals. The food report is amazing to see my trends and help me make better choices. The food database has its limits though so I'm going to start using a digital nutritional kitchen scale and take out the guesswork.

After a bit of searching I've ordered the Starfrit Nutrional Scale from Costco http://www.costco.ca/Nutritional-Kitchen-Scale.product.100003550.html Has anyone had any experience with this scale or similar ones?

Some usage tips would be really appreciated Smiley Very Happy

I bought this one

I am able to eat massive amounts of food so I knew I needed to actually start weighing/measuring my portions in order to start losing weight. It's also probably going to be handy for a plateau because you could see if you've been eyeballing something wrong.

I do not but I did get a scale specifically for baking and have been using it for portion control. I love the display on mine, if I have a large item I can remove the display and then reattach it when I'm done.  It is nice to buy nuts at the bulk bin and then portion it out when I get home.  I enjoy using the tare function - zero out my plate, add something, then add 300 grams of something else and then 250 of another item. This works great for sticky foods like syrup and peanut butter too.
