Anyone have an Aria Scale?

I am debating on whether or not to get one and the cost is what is really holding me back. Is it worth it? What are your opinions on the scale? Pros and cons?

Not worth it!  The body fat percentage always seems to be wrong, it calls me obese my the percentage it gives me and I'm 5'9 and 155 lbs.  Not worth the money.

Dont have an aria but do have a BIA scale

I'm not sure about the long term benefits but as a one off its eye opening

I'm around 5'6 and weigh around 180

I weight lift, I run, I'm overweight, but not massivly so, I figured I have 15lbs to go before I hit my target (that is, to look good naked), time to roll back the weekly loss targets and up the calories

Stepped on, and it returned 30% body fat.

I have 60lbs of body fat

And a pinch and a prob and a giggle and I can accept thats probably not that far off true.

I dont have 15lbs to lose, I have 30lbs, or 47lbs (for 10% BF)

Now, that might not be COMPLETELY accurate to the gram of fat, but unless its off by 30lbs its very useful data.

I just got the second Aria scale set up. The first one had an issue on warranty and was replaced IMMEDIATELY by fitbit. I couldn't have asked for better support service. They seem to have made great advances in the ease of setup and software since this took me just 5 minutes to set up and connect to my wifi. This is by no means my strong suit so I was thrilled with the ease of set up. You can use it as just a scale, which is what I did with my first one but this one I wanted to sync. I was thrilled it was so easy. I love the sleek design of the scale and it is dead on accurate as to weight. I have tested the scale many times by weighing myself jsut before I left for the doctor and wore exactly the same clothes and I was within ounces on the doctor's digital scale. it may not have read what I wanted but it was accurate. As to body fat: I think it is fairly accurate but as everyone is saying: weigh yourself at the same time each day upon arising. I don't stress out about a pound or so of difference because if I go up a pound I just know to watch my diet more carefully and it is usually gone by the next day.

I love mine 🙂

I didn't own scales before hand, so decided that if i was serious about this weight loss thingee, that i should really invest in some scales. A friend of mine had a set for sale (her and he partner both brought one...without the other one knowing haha) so i got it pretty cheap.

As a few others have said, im not 100% sure about the BF...
