Anyone have this issue with recovery pulse rate?

My issue is that when I do some hard physical exertion and stop to check my pulse recovery rate my temperature rises quickly (to get rid of the body heat the exercise generated) and thus my pulse actually climbs rather than head in the other direction.

i´m a good 10-15 kilos overweight (age 51) and I´m now counting calories and getting rid of the weight.

My resting pulse is quite good at 65 and I rarely go above 110 when walking quite briskly.

Anyone else here have the same issue with heat cooling down after exercise?

Your temperature doesn't rise to dispel heat. You sweat to dispel heat.

For the HR thing, mine doesn't rise when I stop. Are you measure this with a chest-strap HRM?

I use:

FitBit Aria
MyFitnessPal and MapMyRide, Garmin VivoSmart
