Thank you .. 🙂  Get your head in the right spot and nothing will stop you.  It won't happen over night, but it will happen.. and it can.  There is loads of corny advice I can give you and you have likely heard it all before.  I weighed 375 when I started and now 190... I thought of it like this.. the first hundred was easy, the next was tough, now feel the last is the challenge.  🙂  .. You can do it!

Thanks for the advice.  And feel free to pass on any more.  I used to be pretty good at taking off extra weight.  But since I had kids (and it's been a long time now) I have never been able to maintain my focus long enough.  But they are both in high school now and it is time for me to focus on me again.  So I am pretty excited about it!

Same boat.. I hit 50 this year and oddlly enough in the best shape of my life.  🙂  My only regret is that I didn't do it sooner.  On the other hand, better late than never as they say.  So many people have said that "it must be so hard"..its not really.. just say no thanks and move on.  Overeating is just "not what I do anymore". 🙂   We have moments, we all do, we might back up a bit, but we need to move forward more.. and eventually its the way you want to go.  The best one heard is "nothing tastes as good as thin feels" and although I don't feel "thin" yet, per say.. but wow.. I do feel amazing.. All those things that used to hurt, physically and emotionally, just don't anymore.

I also must say I think I have my new motto.."Overeating is just not what I do anymore" ...if you don't mind me borrowing.  That pretty much hits the nail on the head for me.
