I’ve using Fitbit here and there for several years. I just started back up again.
I remember years ago when I made my goals that I could make a calorie deficit goal, meaning that if I had a rough day of eating junk, I could offset it with exercise and still meet my daily goal for calories. I don’t see this approach anymore. So if I put 1200 daily calories, no matter how much I exercise, if I eat 1300 or more calories I don’t achieve my goal for the day. Did this change or do I have the wrong goal set up?
