Should I be counting the calories in Benefiber I need to take daily? Is Benefiber a food?

@SueinPG hey there and welcome to the community! yes, anything that increases your caloric intake for the day should be logged if you are counting calories for weight loss.

A calorie is still a calorie, no matter what it is in Yes, include those calories.

LOL Been using the Fitbit for years, my question was really does anyone really count those calories honestly. So I know I should and have been, so guess I'll need to walk an extra 1/2 mile to work them off.

I don't. I don't track the calories in coffee, tea, diet beverages, either. I'm not trying to lose weight, but maintain. I seriously doubt that one or two spoonfuls of fiber supplement make that much of a difference. It depends on how accurate you want to be. Then, I lost most of my weight before I started tracking calorie. I found that I lost most of the weight that I needed to lose by writing down what I was eating without regard to portion size and taking a daily walk.

If you want to maintain your weight and keep same shape, try ginger tea and honey mixed together. First thing in the morning before breakfast.

That sounds delicious but having diabetes I avoid honey, although I do live it. I now only use apple butter on waffles or pancakes, much lower in calories.
