Yes you can BUT should it not base the calories on all the info I gave it and how much a want to lose weekly. What's the point if I put in the calories?

First of all, that's an aggressive goal. 2 lb per week equates to 7,000 calories. It means you need to burn 7,000 more calories than you eat in a week, or 1,000 more than you eat in a day. If you are not adding a lot of exercise to burn more, then the only other way to get to a 1,000 per day difference is to eat way less. 414 calories per day is not a good plan. Add exercise. But, keep in mind that 2 lb per week is probably not realistic.

Sorry, I just realized you're doing initial setup. That's why the math looks weird so far. Once you start logging exercise and it tracks how many calories you are actually burning in a day, it will even out.
It starts with just your BMR, which is like the average amount of calories you burn in a day with NO exercise, then adds burned calories on top of that as it measures your activity. So, right now it thinks you are burning about 1400 calories per day, because it doesn't know about your exercise.
In general every mile you travel on foot will burn around 100 extra calories (plus or minus based on your size and speed). So, if your BMR is 1400 and you walk 5 miles, then you have roughly 1900 calories burned for the day. Shooting for a 1000 calorie deficit (to hit the 2lb per week goal), would allow you to eat 900 calories that day. Does that help it make sense?

I don't mean to start an argument or anything here, but, I know I burn about 100 calories per mile total if walking - not 100 "extra" calories. Of course, I weigh about 130lb but I didn't burn much more a year ago when I weighed 170lb.
