Counting macro nutrients #s

Why do the number of macro nutrients only show on fitbit.com but not on the app (only percentages)? I'm trying to manage my carbs to 50/day. I mostly use the fitbit app to enter my foods but it only gives me macro percentages. I then have to go to fitbit.com to check on my number of carbs. Any chance of changing that in the future fitbit?

Hi @JulieAnn2.  Head on over to the Feature Suggestions forum and add your vote to this feature request.

Fitbit added the macro percentage breakdown to the app in early 2017.  I wouldn't be surprised to see them add gram breakdowns in a future release, but who knows when that might happen?  if you are unwilling to wait, you could link your account to MyFitnessPal and enter your food in MFP.

Of course, since you know your total calories, and macro percentages, you can work out the grams pretty quickly.  50 grams would be just 200 calories (Yikes!), so you would multiply total calories by the carb percentage and then freak out when it is more than 200 😉
