Hey fitbit fam,
My mom likes to tell me that I have a naturally bigger chest and that it will always stay this way. I have decreased my body fat from all parts of my body (mainly through long-distance running and weight lifting) EXCEPT for my chest. I feel that no matter how good my diet is or what types of exercises I switch to, I will always have a larger chest and a smaller "layer" of fat around my lower midsection and hips. I also feel as though if I were to somehow decrease my chest size that I could finally decrease this layer of fat and get the body I strive for.
Note: I am a size 3-4 jeans and a 34DD bra - I need advice or any different exercises to change this.
Thanks!!!!
Kiers

I am in the same boat you are.....My cup size is the same(Double D) but I did go from a 40 to a 34 after losing 75 pound. I wear a smaller pants and shirt size but I thought my bra cup size would be smaller as well when I lost the weight. I was told by the doctor it was because I was using an eliptical at a high level for cardio which burns fat at a faster pace in other locations on my body.
I don't know if this helps....

Oh dear god. THIS POST!! I know the feeling so well.
I'm a 30E cup, although this is better than the 30F/32E cup I used to be (and yes, it's about as ridiculous as it sounds. Big boobs run on my mum's side of the family).
The good news is that since getting a fitbit and using it in conjunction with My Fitness Pal + regular measurement-taking, I lost enough weight overall to go from that F --> E, although I've noticed further progression has just been... weird. Changes definitely seem to happen around my waist first, hips and chest last. Not giving up though, but had to accept along the way that these areas will always be curvier than the rest of me and the price for getting them totally toned may be my sanity (too high a price for me).
The chest area itself is a bunch of things - if things fit snugly around the chest, it could be back fat, it could be massively increased rhomboids/middle traps (unlikely if you're female - we just don't make enough testosterone) etc. Women who work on their pecs (pec fly exercises) often report 'toning' around the bust which can sometimes make breasts sit a bit flatter, but otherwise you'll just have to go at it the old-fashioned way: progressive body fat loss. A lot of the "breast" is actually made up of body fat (hence why Lindsay Lohan was able to go from a D --> A --> D and so forth).
This being said, some ladies just DO have big boobs - Michelle Bridges comes to mind (http://www.bodyandsoul.com.au/health/celebrity+profiles/spotlight+on+michelle+bridges,11815). She's super-toned all over!

Hello
I can relate 100% to you I have a size of 32DDD and although having large boobs can become a pain when we are trying to work out and lose wieght I have found that my boob size will rarely change no matter what my actual weight is. I have been told that the only way I will be able to lose the weight and sizing in my boobs would be with a reduction but surgery. However do remember that your band size and boob size are very different the band is based on your around size so if you do lose inches in your chest you boob size will go down as a 32 DDD is smaller then a 34 DDD. Hope this helps a little

Hey there Fitbit Girls! I have to admit I'm on the same boat with body shape. While I've lost weight, my hips and chest are remain large; but I've managed to get some really good clothing pieces and sportwear from Lane Bryant that help keep everything in place.

The doctor did not recommend anything.....She was just happy I lost the weight and said I should feel the same.
