I would like to lose at least 2 pounds a week, so my daily calorie limit is 1200. Does anyone have any food and exercise diet plans that would be ideal for my goal?

I have always been told to push protein. Half your known carbs. Eating small meals often, every 2 to 3 hours also helps. Lots of ppl have diff views towards weight loss here.
Good luck!

Check out VEEP.COM. Very cool program and it is a sustainable program verses points and calorie counting. Very powerful! It creates a permanent memory pattern on the right foods and portions. Check out the video.

What is your BMR? Unless you are in your 50s or 60s, and very short, 1200 seems like far too few calories. Depending on how much you need to lose, you likely have your goal set too aggressively. The general rule of thumb is that 2 lbs. per week is only appropriate for those that have 80+ lbs. to lose. This is a good guideline, based on the number of pounds that you need to lose:
2 pounds per week = 80+ pounds to lose.
1.5 pounds per week = 40-80
1 pound per week = 15-40 pounds to goal
1/2 pound per week = 10-15 pound to goal
If you follow those guidelines, then your calorie budget will be adjusted to an appropriate level, which is ideally 150-200 calories above your BMR.
