the only reason i enter items into my food log (it's open to everyone if you want to take a look - i've been slacking lately) is so i can see my carb/protein/fat percentages. i don't really bother with restricting calorie intake. i pretty much eat until i'm full and that's about it. i do try to eat slowly to give my body adequate time to realize it's full.
anyone else doing this?

When I started losing weight I was very strict about counting calories. Now, a year later, I have learned to listen to my body and make smart choices to give it the fuel it needs. I still take a look at the nutritional content on foods and try to be mindful not to have too much of any one thing throughout the day. I've been doing this for about 4 months now and I'm maintaining my weightloss.
I'm a lot happier focusing on my exercise and not worrying about entering everything I eat into my phone.
