The question I want the answer to is this:
Does it matter if you enter body fat into the Fitbit app?
When you log weight, do you need to put in a body fat percentage or can you just leave it at zero? Can fit it still accurately record things like cardio fitness level without me putting in my body fat percentage?

@Finn_Healy- You can just enter your weight. Body fat is optional.

I assume you have a Charge 2, since it’s the only Fitbit that currently estimates your cardio fitness AFAIK. If so, cardio fitness score (whether expressed as a single number or as a range) does not use body fat, so entering body fat (if/when obtained with a third-party device) is purely optional (as @A_Lurker already said). It can be a good idea to enter it in your Fitbit Dashboard (together with your weight), so you can have a full history and see how it evolves over time.
