I am trying to do a fitness challenge with my husband, but he gets into it for maybe a week then he's done! Haha I'm looking for some people to talk with and motivate, and challange each other! I am also thinking about doing a cleanse, but feel super overwhelmed by how many there are out there! So any advice on that is definitely appreciated! Good luck to everybody!!!

I've been doing a liquid cleansing fast, comprised of water, teas, and homemade smoothies. I bought some spirulina and bee pollen (both great for detoxing and both are a great source of protein) from my local co-op and I've been mixing a teaspoon of the powders into my smoothies. Pineapple, cloves, and anise are great to get rid of any potential parasites. Use fresh fruits and veggies like cucumber, watercress, cilantro, parsley, lemon, apples, blueberries, etc to make your smoothies. Yogi tea or green tea are great liquid bases and I try to avoid yogurt. If you want it creamy, you can add just a little coconut milk. I don't use any sweeteners, but if you really must, then go with agave. The best detox foods are almonds, avocados, beets, blueberries, cabbage, cranberries, flaxseed, garlic, kale, legumes (especially mung beans), lemons, seaweed (spirulina), dandilions, broccoli, artichoke, turmeric, lemongrass, asparagus, basil, brazil nuts, cinnamon, fennel, goji berries, onions, parsley, and pineapples. You can use a combination of these to make your smoothies. You really only need to do the cleanse for a few days to feel the results, but I prefer 7 days.

You're very welcome! Good luck and success. Oh btw... about the agave nectar, be careful with all sweeteners. Agave or honey are preferred choices becuase they have slower release, which is better to regulate blood sugar, but agave still has a high concentration of fructose, which if it is not used for energy, converts to fat easily. Therefore, use with moderation.
