Checking in:
CSW: 153 lbs (3.30.16)
PW: 150 (4.20.16)
CW: 148.8 (4.27.16)
CGW: 145 lbs
UGW: 130 lbs
Finally! broke through my 150lb plateau. I actually went 3 days in a row with no exercise due to a busy weekend and wasn't tracking my food either. Sometimes I think my body just needs a break from routine, as it's happened before when I've taken a few days off from exercise/tracking I seem to lose a pound or two.
@HelenKr Congrats on breaking under that 150 mark! Way to go!!
@Bogdel Congrats on earning the 30lb badge! It's inspiring!! 🙂

@SunsetRunner, Congratulations on breaking the 150 plateau! Way to go! I am heading that way, as well, and hope to catch up with you soon (smiling). Thanks for your kind note.
Best wishes!

@awood08! You are such an inspiration! I have read your story on another blog, and was amazed at your progress and determination. You say that you are are at about 160 lbs., size 6, and are not sure what your ultimate goal should be. May I ask how tall you are?
I am 5'5", age 62, and I am 152.6 lbs. right now ( I just received my 30 lbs badge from Fit-bit the other day ... smiling). I am also not sure about my ultimate goal, either, but I remember that my ideal weight in my 20s was about 136 lbs. I am thinking about reaching 145 for now, and see how that feels.
Again, reading your story was an inspiration, and I wanted for a long time to write and tell you that.
To health and good looks! 😉

@babin, I am confused about your ultimate goal (are you planning to gain?), but I appreciate your comment about this group. I agree. We have some wonderfully encouraging and supportive people here, and we celebrate each other's success.
Best wishes!

@SunsetRunner - Thanks! To say getting under 150 was exciting is an understatement. I'm very happy, still a little ways to go, but enjoying that landmark. Congrats to you too! Feels good - right?
@Bogdel- You'll be there soon! I am very impressed with how quickly you are losing weight. You are obviously very disciplined.

@awood08 It's best to focus on how you feel instead of a number you have inside of your head. I've set my goal to 130, but I always say that depending on how I feel if I ever get to that weight, I may or may not want to lose more. Seems like you're really happy in your own skin and that is fantastic! Great job! I understand how hard it is not to focus on the scale, but I'm sure you will get to a place where you don't need it anymore.

So I have fallen off the wagon a bit. Last week I did not work out at all and ate out too much. I've also been seeing someone new and that means a lot of dinners and ice cream and such! Gah. Need to step it up.
USW: 163 lbs (March 2015)
CSW(3-28-16): 141 lbs
CGW: 136 lbs
UGW: 125 lbs
3/30/16: 140 lbs
4/6/16: 139.6 lbs
4/13/16: 137.8 lbs
4/27/16: 138.4 lbs 😞
So 2.6 lb loss for the month.

Hello everyone!
So another week of maintaining. I'm still working out & eating good, fresh & healthy food so I'm hoping I'll start to see progress soon. It's getting frustrating & a little disheartening as I've really kept my snacking in order & not really indulged in anything major (a couple of glasses of red with Game of Thrones on Monday was a must though lol).
To keep my head up I've been looking at one of my favourite sayings to keep me motivated:
'If I quit now, I will soon be back to where I started. And when I started, I was desperately wishing to be where I am now.'
Not sure who said it originally or where it's from but I like it, it keeps me going.
Have a great weekend all!

I've got some good news this week! I'm finally back at the weight I started with! AND I measured today and I've lost an inch or a half inch everywhere! I probably won't make my goal weight this time, but I'm going to try and get as close as I can. I didn't start running yet, and now there is about 6" of snow on the ground with it still falling so it doesn't look like I'll start this weekend....but I've kept up with my DailyBurn exercises and I went to the gym with a friend on Monday. I've bought a lot of veggies with the plan to cook them this weekend. Neither me nor my husband cook much at home, so we are trying to do it more.

Hubby and I have started snacking on veggies and dip at night instead of chips and ice cream or chocolate bars. I know that activities like housework is exercise (which for me it really is) but I don't see anything on here about it when I log it.

Thank you! I'm 5'4 (all this time I thought I was 5'3 but had my most recent medical exam and I must have grown an inch! lol) I found my old pictures from high school and I'm exactly the same weight, but more lean and toned. Even my grandfather couldn't believe how much I look like I did in high school (minus the face aging). I know all the charts and "recommendations" say 130's for me but the amount of muscle on my thighs and legs honestly trump what any chart says. My health and how I feel, is telling me where I should be 🙂
You guys are amazing as well, seeing your posts you are awesome people and so motivated 🙂

Hi, @saraj91. Keep it up! This may be just a plateau. You will get over it. As long as you don't go back and stay on track, you are a winner already. You've been an inspiration to us all, already, and we owe you much of our own success through the previous challenges. Thank you for that.

Thanks, @awood08, for your reply. Yes, with all the work-out you have done, you must have built a lot of muscle. I need to work on that, too. With all the weight I lost, my upper arms have gotten flabby. I really hope that can be corrected, because I have a lot of sleeveless dresses that I really like.
Any way, back to you! You did an amazing job. I bet your kids are proud of you, too.
I am assuming that you will stick around and keep it up, right (smiling)?
Best Wishes!

Did not post last week as the wheels sort of fell off a bit.
My GP ordered a pair of un-appealing support pants, that I hoped would allow me to do some light running, but they came slightly too big, and offered little help, so had to buy another pair a size smaller.
Not ideal, but I find that doing little or no excercise really makes me lethargic and bored.
Have my hernia consultation on Wednesday, that can't come soon enough, as any proper excercise has been restricted.
I managed to put 4lbs on in about as many days, as I felt totally un-interested, as things had been going so well. Fortunately I managed to resist any alcohol, as that would have made it worse.
Managed to get back on track by about Tuesday, which set the tone for the week and now managed to get below my lowest of the year. This will set things up, with a nice Bank Holiday weekend as well.
Off to gym, although my PT is wary about me doing too much, but at least it is positive.
May post tomorrow if there is any slight loss, but hope that next week sees me break the 11st - game on !! (again)
Have a great weekend everyone !!
