Did you mean:

Food plan and calories used

...my question is: Over the course of the day, does Fitbit 'Food plan' recalculate the calorie intake as you exercise?

Thank you

Intake, well sort of.

Let say for a moment that at 4:00 PM, you have eaten 800 calories.  And you have a 500 calorie deficit.  At 4:00 PM, you have burned 1500 calories.  Your fitbit will say you need to eat another 200 calories for your goal.

But then you exercise for the next hour, and burn 800 calories.  Now your fitbit will say you need to eat 1000 calories to meet your goal.

It's a shifting scale based on your activity level.

Thanks…so as you exercise (and burn off more calories) it adjusts itself to show you the maximum you can eat and remain within your ‘food plan’.

This is true but remember that these are only estimates and it is not possible for any single tool to be able to be accurate for all of us.  I love this tool but get in trouble when trusting the Calories in or out.
