Good morning. For the first time in 2 weeks I woke up with a below zero motivation to go to the gym. I had to look at pump-up for a few mn to get motivated. Yesterday for the first time I am over my calories for the day. 2 weeks ago I was in an all high working out everyday and eating below 1300 cals thats burning 500 + calories per day. Now I am just down , like down. I cannot explain it. It had happen before. But today I can see it more clearly . Its like these old habits are like monsters laughing at me and saying :"You really though you had it figured out ugh" Its crazy. This morning I had my morning smoothies I am now gonna just take a deep breath , and go to the gym. I lost 2 lb in these 2 weeks. So what ever I was doing worked. I just need to keep on doing. I tell myself that I am also in a stage and that I will come up again.
How do you come back up? that would be really helpful to me
Thank you

The best way to come back for me is having well defined goals. I do not treat failures as failures, I look at them and see them as points of reflection. Some are up and some are down. Then I try to figure out whey they were up or down. Usually it is as simple as I never complimented myself, I never gave myself a pat on the back and said good job with that. One thing I learned recently is you have to compliment yourself, and you cannot always rely on others to compliment you and your progress. When you make goals you have to have a good mix of short term goals that help you build towards a long term goal. As you start checking off the short term goals you need to compliment yourself and use them when you do not reach the next one. Always tell yourself just look at all these goals I have accomplished so far. I am much further than where I started. If you do not have a clearly defined path it really does become difficult to navigate the waves that life throws your way.
