For most people start exercising and dieting means that they will enter into a boring, painful world. On the contrary! Exercising generates endorphins and endorphins make happy people! (My favorite Legally Blonde line, lol ). Lack of motivation might also be one of the reasons why you're not reaching your goals just yet. However, to me having fun while achieving my goals is the perfect combo for anything I do in life.
I'll leave you here with five of the infinite fun ways to lose weight:
So guys, let me know what are your fun ways to exercise and lose weight? Let me know and comment below! :

As long as you enjoy what you're doing I think there's a better chance of keeping it up. I currently have a number of options, although at the moment too much treadmill and/or extending walking is bothering one of my knees. I'm hoping this will get better once I've lost more weight.
1. Rowing - this is my new favourite activity. I truly love my new rower
2. Weights - I've done heavier lifting off and on over the years. Currently not doing as much because of the already mentioned knee and space limitations. Plan to sort this out over Christmas.
3. Elliptical - trying to learn to love it. I will probably never love it, but who knows.
4. Walking - need to build up my endurance, hoping to start joining some of the semi-local meet-ups next year, but they're a little too hardcore for me at the moment (3-hrs mostly).

Thanks for sharing guys!
@GershonSurge hiking is awesome and by doing it in a steep terrain I'm sure you torch million of calories. I've read that hiking changes your mind-set to make you a more positive person. Way to go!
@WendyB wow! I've never heard of Piloxing before. It does sound like lots of fun. I'm guessing it's Pilates combined with a session of boxing? OMG, waking up early to catch the sunrise is always magical! Great pic!
@A_Lurker amazing options! Rowing is great and I enjoy being around water. It's a great stress reliever also. Elliptical is the best, I do love it and I can be there for 45-60 minutes in high resistance, omg I just love this activity, lol! What is it about it you don't like? Swimming would be a great therapy for your knee, gentle and slow motions to help strengthen it!
It's so motivating getting new ideas to maintain a healthy lifestyle!

This thread is awesome! I absolutely love doing Zumba; I went to a couple Zumba marathons and I have the Zumba vol1 and vol2 for Wii.
Besides this, my partner does triathlons (I do Netflix marathons ) but I've been poked around to run errands on foot or bike; hiking around new places and trying out new exercises to find more ways to be fit.

@MariamV- this rowing is on a machine in my basement, but I still enjoy it. I know someone who spends a lot of time kayaking and I may investigate that next year. The reason I don't like the elliptical is that it reminds me of how out of shape I still am. I will get better though.
I swim during the summer here. In fact, unlike most people in the area I usually keep my pool open from Apr-Nov (sane people usually do late May to mid-Sep at best).

Thanks @HelenaFitbit! that's definitely fun! Zumba is the best combination. You have so much fun dancing and losing weight! I love Zumba too!
@A_Lurker Oh I see! Lol, my bad. I totally encourage you to go kayaking, it's one of my favorite activities ever!
Lol, even though I'm not as in shape as I would like to be, I still like the challenge that the elliptical implies to my workout routine. Eventually it will become easier. Isn't swimming the best? I always enjoy doing activities in the water.
This thread is so fun, keep sharing!
