Getting back in the game after fractured ankle

Well after fracturing my ankle I have been lazy and took way too much time off. I am in need of new friends and motivation to get me going! Thank you

Hey @hmoore3444! I'm on the same boat, I ignored the sympthoms for plantar fasciitis and ended up ripping my fasciia. Smiley Sad

While you recover, have you considered pilates? This is a really good workout that won't put any pressure on your fractured ankle.

We can do this!

Helena - how are you supposed to heal from PLantar Fasccitis? I have been dealing with it for about a year now and it doesn't seem to get better even with inserts!

@W247 Google for exercises for plantar fasciitis. They help a lot. You have to be vigilant about doing them. I use to do them 3 times a day. It takes a long time to go away but it does.

@W247 I am currently wearing a compression ankle cuff, 2 doctor scholl's inserts and doing physical therapy. Pinterest has plenty of exercises, types of shoes and stretching techniques.

You must rest your feet and avoid flat shoes. If you really must walk, step from the heel to the toe to protect the fasciia. I just tell my friends it's my sexy walk. Smiley LOL

@WendyB I had no idea you had plantar fasciitis too!

Hope this helps! Let me know if you have any questions Cat Very Happy
