Half a Million Calories!!

I started my current diet on March 10, 2016. I'm happy to announce that since then I've passed the half-million calorie mark!

I've used an Excel spreadsheet to track my calories since March 10, and started using my Fitbit trackers on March 28th. As of yesterday, I have eaten 500,696 calories over a period of 235 days, for an average of 2139.7 calories per day. My weight loss is detailed in my sig.

Anybody else use Excel?

So I tell my friends "Eat a Half Million Calories, and Lose Weight!!!"

That would be a great title for a book.

I used Excel for a couple months while losing weight. Now that I'm maintaining, I stopped using it.

Now, I'm using one to track a 48 state virtual hike.

Foooood!!!

Yesterday I accidentally told my Fitbit that I had eaten 58 pounds of cereal instead of 58 grams.  My weekly calorie bar graph showed six tiny green or yellow stumps and one GIANT RED BAR.  That's always fun!
