Halloween to Thanksgiving Challenge 2015

Hello everyone! Welcome to the Halloween to Thanksgiving Challenge!!!

This challenge will begin on Halloween October 31st and finish on Thanksgiving November 26th. This is a little less than 4 weeks so try and be realistic with your weight loss goals so you don't feel discouraged if you don't hit your mark.  

 

All you need to join this challenge is to post your stats regarding your weight, and check in weekly or as often as you'd like. We are a great support group and enjoy keeping up with each other and being there for our ups and downs.


HAVE FUN!! Most importantly enjoy yourself and your journey! 🙂

 


A little rundown of terminology for anyone who is new.

 

USW- Ultimate Starting Weight

CSW- Current Starting Weight

GW- Goal Weight

UGW- Ultimate Goal Weight

PW- Previous Weight

CW- Current Weight

MFP- My Fitness Pal

I have had my Fitbit for about 10 days. I have a control issue and am working on that so I set my goal low until I am able to get some weightloss mojo going!

Too funny Mesquite! Its so true that at the cottage we do not eat as well...mind you last two weekends before we closed up I was DETERMINED to not gain weight there...and I did not. 🙂 all closed now and we're ready to lose that weight!

Count me in.  This is my first challenge.  Got my Fitbit on Sept 16th and loving it.  It is keeping me motivated.

New here.... been struggling with my weight for years.  Tried to put some jeans on and once again too tight...  I have over 20 pairs that would fit if I would just start losing.  I am not buying new jeans!!!!  My goal is to wear the clothes I own already! LOL

I like this idea.  I am the type of person that needs a challenge and being able to see other sand encourage them will be beneficial!!

I agree, tired of buying new clothes all the time.  I just need to be more motivated to lose that weight to fit into the clothes that I have. Smiley Happy

And I am hoping to buy new clothes! 🙂 I refuse to buy anything new untill right before my trip. Going to Spain with a friend for New Years. So I am hoping my current wardrobe gets baggier and baggier!

What does "Spoiler" mean?  I entered my city and state and country and when I checked back today, there was that word and the information was gone?  OOPS!  I went back to the edit screen, and the spoiler thing is probably something I hit inadvertently.  Pretty embarrassing.  I am FitBit message challenged.  🐵

Diane, from NYC, brand new here.  Losing weight after knee surgery.  I'm all in for this challenge.  Here are my stats:

I find going to the gym or on a nice day I will go to the park and walk directly from work.  If I go home I know I will not leave because something will always need my attention.

I have been going to the gym ale dry morning and working out for an hour then I go after work with a friend and we walk for an hour. Just started really working out last week and I need to stay motivated!
