I read that you were born and raised in NYC when I do my walking I think of that as I do all my walking on back country roads or in the woods can not imagine living in a large city at all.

Checking in:

SW 185lbs
CW 180.6 lbs
GW 180 lbs
UGW 135 lbs

After six days straight of hitting every goal and adhering to my fitness pal calorie allowance, I'm down .4. I'm disappointed again. My original goal for this challenge was to hit 180, but after a great first week when the scale said 179lb I adjusted that goal to 175. I'm obviously not going to lose 5 pounds of fat this week so I've adjusted my challenge goal back to 180lb. This is why I don't trust scales or MFP when it tells me I can lose 2lbs a week.
Hard to stay motivated with the lack of results. Oh well, nothing to do but keep moving forward. Keep walking, keep trying to eat better. Keep going.

So glad to hear that Barbara! I really enjoyed your video you posted, you look so at peace when you dance. And the grace and beauty of it is wonderful. I've never heard of a Viennesse Waltz, i'm going to look that up. It sounds wonderful 🙂

I do talk nicely to myself, and not allow myself to be too harsh. I just compare my before and after pictures and it gives me that little boost because while I may not see it in the mirror. The pictures tell it all.

Thank you for your continued words of wisdom and inspiration!

U accomplished .4 so far as a weight loss. Is this ur second week? I started over 6 mths ago and many times I have felt as you. Now I add even more exercise to my daily goals as before. Increase ur steps/exercise and u will see a loss greater than normal. Yes, keep pushing yourself.

I am sending prayers you way too Sahaniqua.  I remember 3 years ago when I broke my ankle.  It is no fun being layed up for any length of time.  Hang in there it will get better with time.

I've been a little down since I haven't lost and actually gained from the wedding and just now got back down to my 186 I previously was at. I got some motivation again, just wanted to share some pictures with ya'll. This is what a difference 49 pounds made for me!

@Movingnow Basically food wise I am doing portion control and 5 small meals a day. I do light weight training 3 days a week, and like 40 mins of Cardio 5 times a week. I'm taking a trip to Spain for New Years and want to make sure i was comfortable in the plane for that long. 🙂 Hoping for another 20-25lbs before I leave.

@awood08 You are looking fantastic! Keep up the great work!

@Farisdayoff

Thank you very much!

And the best of luck on your goal for your Spain trip 🙂

Not sure if you already do it but make sure to mix up your workouts each week, that way it keeps your body guessing.
