Has any one tried this water fasting? Intermittent hunger but other times i am ok. I lost 1 pound a day, I started 5 days ago. I do find i have more time on my hands without having to cook & clean up.
Has anyone else done this ?
I am wondering what to expect. I never "Fasted" before, i have searched the internet and read many articles on the subject. l plan to stop on Saturday. and do i really have eat slowly?
** Up date on my 7 day fast:
I did loss 1 pound a day. how i felt during that time. of course I had hunger pain, but surprising not all the time.
By Day 4 I had a very mild headache Very Dry Eyes - my Skin "did not Glow" like what I read many times, My face was a little dry. (not flaky- it just felt dry, didnt look dry ) still had energy. mild headache
Day 5 Dry eyes, nausea, and felt a little off. Nice seeing the scale go down.
7th Day of water fasting, I felt nausea, same dry eyes, very tired, over all did not feel well. I woke up about 1 pm and just had to eat I felt so lethargic, I opted for a bowl of Chicken Noodle Soup & 3 Crackers. I set in bed with my warm soup, and had to it slowly, as my stomach felt rough. I would set it down, and let it rest, by the time I was done however I could feel my blood pressure go back up &probably sugar levels too. I put my dishes into the dishwasher and went back to bed. My stomach ache was still their, but headache subsided I slept well.
Day after only water fast: woke up feeling pretty good. but "off" -no more dry eyes, headache and nausea gone.
today I had a hard boiled egg about noon. its strange I feel more hungry today then before.
No I did not look like the before & after pictures, still me with weight to loss lol - but 10 pounds lighter. Now i have to be very careful not to indulge. they days seem to mesh together, I didn't really keep track.
I know there is alot of articles about this but my experience was really different then things I read.
