Hi, I have well over 100 pounds to lose and could use some Fitbit friends to share stats with. I don't post much, but I love watching the two friends that I already have, and how their stats add up against mine. One friend and I keep taking turns being in the lead and the other I cannot even come close to catching. I probably only average 6-8,000 steps a day right now. I am doing Weight Watchers and hoping to lose a large chunk of weight this year. If you want to be friends, please send me a friend request. You can click on my profile and send it that way. Thanks!

Hi there
I too have over 100lbs to loose. I'm just recently turned 40 and I'm starting to feel the extra weight in my knees and my poor hip! I would add all of you as friends, if I ever figure this thing out! Lol
Hoping to find and give encouragement.
Looking forward to meeting you all.

Hi!
I also have over 100 pounds to lose, although when I first got here I was afraid to commit too much, so I set my "first" goal at losing 70 lbs, which will take me just below obese into the overweight category. Since then, I've totally changed my relationship with food and have lost 12 lbs in the past 6 weeks. I've gained a lot more faith in my ability to actually change, and I can finally admit to myself that my real goal is to lose about 128 lbs. It doesn't even seem overwhelming anymore! I'm hoping to hit that magic number just before my 35th birthday (which gives me about a year and a half).
Would love some friends to go on this journey with me!

Txengineer, awesome progress! I can hardly even picture myself after losing 60 lbs (and changing that much is a scary concept, even if it's for the better!) You are going to kick a ton of ass this summer, and no matter what, I predict the next two thirds of both our lives will be totally amazing 😉

I have that same feeling. I am not in Weight Watchers, but I will help encourage you. I am 220 lbs and my goal weight is 150lbs. It is hard because my fiance' is 300 lbs, loves pizza, and does not see anything wrong with my weight. My family has heart issues and I don't want a short life. This is the first time I have been overweight. Most of my life, I have been a gym bunny...starting at 15. I am turning 40 and the last 5 years, I have gained weight consistently. It is hard and I need a support group because people look at me and assume I have just been fat my whole life and I am lazy...which I am neither.

I've got a little over 100 pounds to lose. I just got my fitbit last night (6/30/2014) and I started Weight Watchers on Sunday 6/29/2014. I'm also looking for friends to go on this journey with.
I'm sure we can all do it and motivate each other!

Hello everyone,
I also have over 100 pounds to lose and just started with my fitbit. My husband needs to lose about 40 pounds and we are doing the 21 day fix exercise and eating plan together. I don't know if I have lost yet as I don't have a scale at home, but I am feeling good. Thyroid problems and PCOS have caused me to pack on the pounds in the last 2 years. Even now with medications I have a very hard time losing weight. It gets very discouraging to work hard and not see results or see very slow results. I could use some friends and encouragement. I need to stick to this. I want a better life.
