I am the exact same weight as I was when I got my Flex 3 1/2 months ago!
How about you?
I'm hoping with Spring here and Summer around the corner, that my walking will increase.

I was 204 on January 30, 2015 when I weighed in with the doctor. I now weigh 174.7 today. I bought the Aria scale and weigh in every morning. I see my progress. I know for a fact that my scale is 2 lbs. less than my doctor's and my BMI measured this weekend at the 5K fun run at Anaheim Stadium after the run was 29.5. My FitBit says 30.1. So it's been very accurate so far. I have lost about 29/30 lbs. give/take an oz or 2. I eat salad every day with very little dressing. I measure every piece I put in the salad, I eat very little red meat. I eat turkey, chicken, and fish. I only eat about 4 oz of meat 1-2 times/day depending on the need to burn. If I burn more, I tend to eat more. Saturday, I burned 3800 calories throughoiut the day (including the fun run 5K). I have the FitBit set to a 750 calorie deficit. I have gone over and still lost a 1/2 lb. I have been losing about 1-2 1/2 lbs./week. I am not doing too much weight but more resistance bands and core work as well as the treadmill with incline of about 8-9% for 45 - 50 minutes at 3.3 miles +/hr. Everybody has different reactions to the workout, the diet, but I do know that you have to eat about 1/2 what you eat out and watch your choices. You have to give up something if you ate something that took up most of your calories. I don't eat much bread, but I do eat oatmeal, nuts, avocado, berries, and drink protein smoothies in the morning for breakfast. It works. It's just making a contract with yourself that you will budget your meals. Drink a lot of water and use infusions of berries, cucumber, mint (suppresses hunger) and citrus. It's really delicious and refreshing. I hope that works for you. When you don't see improvement, increase the intensity of your workout. 🙂

I have a charge HR and find that's it is pretty close to what I burn. May be off by a couple of hundred calories (or my logging isn't as precise as it should be). I burn enough and have enough to lose, but it doesn't affect my weight loss. If you're closer to your goal it might.
However, on the charging, 4 days max is what I get. I tend to take it off and plug it into my laptop (at work or at home) periodically instead of letting it run down. Mine is slightly modified (a waterproofed version) so that could affect it as well.
ETA: I bought the HR version as in the past I've had a nasty habit of dieting myself into illness. The first time the indicator was my resting rate slowly went up, even though I was exercising a lot. Turned out I had fluid around one lung, with zero symptoms at the time. Early signs I wrote off as a pulled muscle. By the time I finally addressed it, my resting rate had gone from 60 to 90. So now I use the HR function as a heads up since traditionally I don't listen to my body very well. Okay, it generally says things like... grab a book, don't bother doing anything, isn't this nice comfy location a good idea...

I have the Charge and I like it very much. I do love having the heart rate monitor, and it seems to be accurate, or as accurate as one could expect. I work out hard several days a week and it is letting me know that, no matter how hard I think I am working, I am still not quite getting enough peak rate minutes, so I work out even harder the next day without killing myself. My ONLY gripe about my Charge is that it skips flights of stairs. I know how many I climb because I keep track in my head and my Charge tends to drop a flight each day. Still, on other days, if I climb up steep hills, it will say I have climbed twenty flights of stairs that day . . . so perhaps it is all balancing out, lol.

In the past I have always been overweight but in the past 10 months or so I started to lose it. In abour October/November I noticed I wasnt losing it anymore but I was stuck halfway between my starting and goal weight!
A month after getting my fitbit I have lost 2.2kg and I'm feeling a lot more motivated, hopefully it will not stop this time and if it does I will be able to track more closely whats happening!
@jwil1, keep at it. Plateaus seem to be a natural part of the weight-loss process.

My weight is now down to 215 and my body fat is at 17%. I think that getting 15 to 20K steps a day has really been the key to my progress.

Ok I have a another question. How can anyone do 50k or above in a day. The most I have done is 30k and that was hard
Doing it on one day is possible (even if it’s hard and takes many hours). It’s claiming to do it day in day out, month after month, that doesn’t make any sense. There are several never-ending topics on this:

https://community.fitbit.com/t5/Get-Fit/How-can-a-person-average-80-000-steps-in-a-day/td-p/174603
I personally think keeping them alive is beating a dead horse.
Just be aware that people who exceed 20k steps are already a very tiny minority of the total Fitbit population. You can check this in the Premium Membership (which you can try for free for one week).

There are some that can get it done...those who are on their feet all day at their jobs...and then go home and workout as well. I work in an office setting. I consider myself an active person and workout 5-6 days a week. I try to keep my dashboard up on my phone to remind me off my steps and to get up and move ever so often. I am doing well if I can get 10-15K on a normal day. There have been times that I have gotten 20K+ for a while...but I was doing a lot of running.
I know a person that "cheated" the system. She would claim to get an unbelieveable amount of steps each day. I found out later that she would stand in her checkout station at the store where she worked and would move her arms like she was walking. This tricks her app in to thinking that she is taking steps.
Hey, if that's what she wants to do...fine...BUT, here's the thing. She is also a "trainer". (I used "" because she basically read a book and took an online test)
To me, if you are in that kind of a position you need to be honest with your clients. If you are cheating and/or lying about what you are doing for fitness...then you are being a hypocrite when you tell them what they should be doing.
Don't worry so much about how many steps you are getting. To me..10K is a good amount. Anything more is bonus. As with any regimine it's not just one thing...it's a balance. Diet, exercise, staying active and eating clean...there are many things that can make you successful...and what works for one person may not work for another. I think that it doesn't matter if you get 5k or 50k a day...as long as they are honest steps...and not cheated. Because, let's be honest...you are only cheating yourself.
