I am the exact same weight as I was when I got my Flex 3 1/2 months ago!
How about you?
I'm hoping with Spring here and Summer around the corner, that my walking will increase.

I did not intend to lose weight I bought the FitBit, since I was in the "healthy weight range" according to my doctor. But, the neurosurgeon wanted me to work on improving cardiovascular system prior to fairly serious spine surgery he was going to perform 6 weeks from then. So, I started following the walking and light weight lifting exercises he recommended, and used the FitBit to track my progress. Saw tremendous improvement in my heart rate, both at rest and while working out. But, since getting the FitBit and beginning exercising, I have lost 16 pounds, and I feel better than I have in years. And, the neurosurgeon said both the 7-hour surgery and the 3-month recovery went much better because of the exercise and improvement in the cardiovascular system.

I am happy to say that I have lost 6 pounds since I bought by fitbit zip. I bought the zip for my physical education class and I am hoping this will keep me accountable to reach my goal weight.

Lost 15 lbs total since March.
Weight coming off S-L-O-W-L-Y.
Some weeks, the scale doesn't budge, then I weigh 2-3 weeks later and 3 lbs gone.
Started 21 Day Fix a week ago.

yes, over 30lbs, a few more pounds and I will be officially in the overweight range and out of the obese 🙂
then again, when I get weighed at the hospital/gp, I am fully clothed, so will need to lose the clothing weight as well
but it is going in the right direction
just wish the fat would go from the belly and thighs....

it actually depends on your activity and diet and so forth. when i started in march i was around 298 as of my last doctors appointment. my boss had gotten a jawbone from his wife for his birthday and hed been walking up and down the road at work. we are wastewater operators and we walk a good bit as part of our job anyways. so i bought myself a fitbit charge hr and wore it a few days to get some sort of baseline on average i walked about 3.5 to 4 miles just working alone. so i started walking with my boss up and down the road instead of sitting at the desk when i wasnt busy with work. inially weight loss was small..so i decided to start drinking water instead of diet drinks or regular drinks. in time i have moved my step goal from the original 10000 per day to 11000 in april to 12000 at the end of may my plan is to keep it at 12000 until august. im actually averaging around 15000 to 16000 a day. and im eating grilled chicken salads at lunch as well as watching my portions at home. im down to 272 as of this morning the weight loss has been slow. i will be adding bicycle rides into my everyday routine soon and im hoping that ill lose a lil more. in my experience the slower the weight comes off the better and easier it is to keep it off.
im enjoying the fitbit ive joined one group thats had a few challenges but no ones really communicating much but i think the fitbit itself is a helpful tool in getting active and losing a lil weight as well
thanks

Since getting my fitbit and taking this PE class, I have found my eating is not that bad, just too many soft drinks and sweets..:), this week I will focus on watching my food portions and less sodas and sweets and more water. It is going to be tough but I have to stay focused and get this weight off.

that's awesome! yes it can be done. The fitbit is a tool. In order for it to work you have to use it. It can't do the work for you.
Great Job!

Question for those that own the Fitbit Aria scale: How accurate do you place the body fat % on this scale? Mine has not changed much over a 30 pound weight loss. Any body have similar results from the scale?

I have lost about 63 lbs, my body fat (according to fit bit) has only gone down around 10%. I started at 255 and I am a male at 6ft tall. Even though fitbit only reports around 10%, I have seen about 4 inches off my waste and about 1 1/2 inch from my neck. I don't expect to see any more than around 13-14% when I reach my goal of the mid 180s. BTW fit bit had me at around 36% and obese (can't argue with this assesment). I guess 30 lbs (although nothing to scoff at) is only a small percentage when linking that to a body fat %. Emujo

When i got the fitbit scale on 4/3 i was 242 and 34% body fat. Today i was 218 and 29.5% body fat. Although figuring out the calculation it is a decent drop in fat even though not a big reduction in percentage. Not sure if he 30% is accurate or not.
