I am the exact same weight as I was when I got my Flex 3 1/2 months ago!
How about you?
I'm hoping with Spring here and Summer around the corner, that my walking will increase.

Mine is I walk/run 70+miles per week, plus I spend another 6-10 hours per week as a Hockey Ref. I think this is what led to my 70+ lb weight gain over 10 years. I mistakenly thought that reffing was enough and I could eat/drink as I wanted to. It wasn't, when I got to 255 and could barely reach down to pick up a puck I said enough.I have cut 90% of the beer, Pizza, fast food ect. I'm not saying I eat 100% healthy, but I try not to eat late at night, and I really keep a strict log of what I do eat. Now I float around 190, and have competed in a 5K, 10K and did my 1st 1/2 marathon last month. Planning for a full 26.2 this spring. Emujo

I finished my weight loss push last June. I have been totally committed to walking/running 12K every day and I have a streak of 150 days since Labor Day. I have only gained 3/4 pounds since I stopped losing last summer.

That’s 16 km per day in average everyday. If you’re doing it walking briskly (6 km/h), it’s almost 3 hours. If you’re doing it jogging at moderate speed (9 km/h), it’s almost 2 hours. If you’re doing it as a mix of walking and running, it would be somewhere between 2 and 3 hours. That’s quite a lot to do every single day of the week, especially if you’re also doing 6-10 hours of hockey reffing per week on top of it. Few people with a full-time job would be able to find the time to do all this (unless they can do some of it as part of their job).

I got the fitbit Charge 2 last weekend. I weighed in at 148lbs (I'm 5'5"). I also started using my fitness pal which allotted me 1250 calories to lose 8 lbs over 8 weeks. I ended up eating a minimum of 1400 calories a day with two days over 2000 calories. I worked out really hard because I wanted to win my first workweek hustle. I teach Zumba and a mossa class called Group Active.
This was my first attempt to lose weight and I have never lost any weight accidentally, so I was imagining it would be quite a small weight loss.
I lost five pounds in my first week!
I know that's too much and this week I'll definitely eat a little more, but wow. I'm so pleased.
BTW, I won the hustle. ; )

Before I bought Fitbit, I lost 4-5 kgs within a month. Now, I bought that (just 10 days ago) and found that I lost 1.5-2 kgs already. Of course, this also depends on what and how I eat.

Good job on the challenge won.
Just to be aware, and I mention it here so others who don't know.
MFP set your eating goal of 1250 daily based on YOUR selection of non-exercise daily activity level - I'm betting you guessed sedentary like most, even though you aren't even with no exercise.
So that 1250 daily is for doing NO exercise. Sounds like you did a whole bunch of exercise, and therefore you do more, you should eat more - unless the idea of muscle mass loss sounds good.
If you think your workouts were actually calm enough that almost 200 extra calories covered them, then fine. But it sounds like you thought they were good workouts, so probably burned much more, besides daily life probably being more active.
Feed your workouts like you did for 2 days, that probably helped - either log your workouts on Fitbit, or more correctly let the MFP and Fitbit accounts sync (if that is working right) and that allows MFP to correct itself on your guess of daily burn, and therefore correct your eating level. That way you can keep this up correctly and reach goal weight by only losing fat weight.
Because yes, 5 lbs is bad, even considering 2-3 lbs was water weight, which will come back to the body's desired level once you eat more. So that won't continue of course, but it still speaks to the deficit you caused being rather big, unless you do have over 50-60 lbs for 2 lbs weekly to be reasonable.

Thanks for your input! I was feeling hungry a lot last week, but this being my first experience with weight loss , I thought that was normal. I never expected that I was going to hit the five lb mark. I had a problem getting the fitbit app and mfp to communicate my calorie burn, but I took a while this afternoon and figured it out. I think that will help the situation! I'll give an update next weekend and let you know what that weigh in yields. I only have 3 pounds to goal, so I'm not really focused on the weight loss, but it's a cool experience! And I definitely don't want to lose muscle mass.
Thanks again 😊

Have been using Fitbit for a few years, once I kept washing my pedometer left on my clothes. Upgraded to HR in last 2015, just before total hip replacement and topping out at 250 pounds (much due to using wrong time of pain medicine - alcohol, and eating too much). Have dropped 40 pounds in first six months, and since then struggled to maintain the weight and definitely not dropping anymore. When I was able to walk it helped most, but now right hip that was replaced in 2011 has caused too many problems, though hoping to get it replaced again. Only salvation has been physical therapy in learning stretches and hoping to return to walking again, since it was my best way to loses weight. Dropping all soda "cold turkey" in December 2015, and quitting alcohol, has been a good choice, but getting frustrated in other body damages that hinder my work out. That frustration has caused too much food intake, so am now getting back on the plan to control intake and exercise again. The Fitbit HR helps control the level of exercise, heartrate and others, but need a reminder function to get me up and at em during the day.

I wish you much success in your journey! I can relate to some of the struggles you are going through. I had a labral tear and realignment of ball& socket joint last February! Very slowly getting back but I can no longer do my running which is sad for me. I do other forms of cardio it my weight loss is slow. I guess it's part of my aging too! Hit those golden years lol please stay positive and good things will happen 😁

Got my Charge HR in 2015, have lost 43 lbs so far, now a "normal" BMI for the first time in 25 years. My Charge HR helped encourage me to walk more, now i always get at least 10K steps per day. When I saw some weight loss results I began to cut my calories and log everything I ate. Now I lift weights (nothing major) 5 times per week and get 30 minutes of cardio per day. I'm very happy with the "kick start" that my Charge HR gave me!

I have lost 24lb since Feb 20 this year. This was not due to Fitbit but a boot camp, keeping up regular exercise, keeping the metabolic rate high and a very healthy diet.
Fitbit is a great tool for measuring hourly/daily/weekly progress etc
For me it keeps my mind focused on the job at hand and gives me goals to aim for. It would be good if just wearing the Fitbit alone helped me lose the weight by itself !

I have had my Fit bit zip for almost a month, have not lost any weight yet. I need to cut back on the chocolate, and exercise more on my days off work. I am open to suggestions on foods that help lower weight.
