You have selected a 1 lb weight loss goal weekly, or 500 cal deficit.
You have burned say 1500 calories by mid-day, so 12 hrs.
Your deficit for 1/2 the day is 250 therefore.
Your expected eating level is 1250 by that point.
If you have eaten 1250 + or - some % or block calories (not sure what they use), your arrow would be in the green.
If you have eaten 500, arrow in the yellow, you can eat more.
If you have eaten 1500, arrow in the red, you have eaten more than needed at this point.
Totally useless to me, as I skip breakfast usually, and dinner is going to be bigger than lunch. When I've noticed it's usually in the yellow for most of the day until done with my final snack, then green.
But it might be very useful for those that have trouble eating enough, and at end of day discover they probably should eat another 500 calories because they've been really active, but now it's too late.
If they had done it during the day, might have been better.
Since it doesn't tell you how much on the tile, merely total in and out but no comment on deficit applied by that point in the day - seems pointless to me.

Clories in and calories out.
How much food you ate, and how many calories you have used during the day.
