I'm trying to get healthy and can't find the motivation to stay on track with my food intake. I have the worst sweet tooth ever and weak minded. I'm worried I will never get healthy and I'm addicted to sugar!!!
I'm 34 y/o mom and feel disgusted with myself. My weight is around 190 lbs. ( i threw away the scale)
5' 6" in height.
Any Ideas on cutting sugar.... getting and staying motivated?

I am with you. I am 39 and wanted to be Fit by this time next yr for my 40th B-Day. I struggle with everything you said. I am 215lbs and would like to lose 60-70lbs. My husband and kids got me this fitbit a couple weeks ago for my birthday. I am hoping it will help me achieve my goals.
Want a buddy?

Hi everyone! I'm 36 and am also pretty new to Fitbit and just decided to try and get serious about it. I have an addiction to sugar myself and have a longer road to travel. I need to lose about 120 lbs still. My hyopthyroid disorder doesn't help, but I think I'm getting determined. 😉
As for cutting those cravings sometimes I ask myself if I'm really hungry or just stressed. A lot of the time I find it's the stress and I'm working on forcing myself to do something else to keep from eating. If I'm set on something sweet though, I'm trying to find substitutions that aren't as unhealthy, like a graham cracker. And if I do reach for the chocolate mousse cake I'm forcing myself to take a sliver of it instead of a big piece and then make it last and tell myself I'm done. I can't say I'm 100% successful, but I'm slowly chipping away at the pounds.
Friend me if you'd like and we can encourage each other to choose taking a walk over eating something sweet. =D
