Hello all!
I'm new at FitBit and just started a journey to change my life and starting to take control of my weight.
I have about a month going to the gym and I lost a couple of sizes (yay!), but I still need to lose a lot of weight. I'm looking forward to start taking more healthy and conscious decisions for my life.
I will appreciate any help or tips that you could provide me 🙂

Hi Marylth, I am new to Fitbit too! I really love the step counting and tracking my food. No more surprises now...I should see results soon. Congrats on taking charge of your weight loss...we'll get there!

I started out with a 60 pound weight loss goal in June, I'm proud to say I'm down 43 pounds as of today! My biggest advice is to mix up your workouts, don't let it get repetitive because your body will get use to the same movements. Not sure what your diet is like, but for me I have found carbs are a big enemy. I stick to healthy carbs as much as possible, even if it means I take on slightly saltier or fatty foods my body is much better if I keep my carb intake with healthy carbs and not breads, pastas, etc. Once I lost the first 30 I started slowing a bit week to week with my weight loss, I found if I have some higher calorie then lower calorie days and alternate them throughout the week it almost gives my metabolism a reset.

43 lbs thats AMAZING AWOOD!!!
I like the reset idea because there wil always be day when you have more calories..so that encourages e..kinds like boosting the metaboism. Good point.

🙂 Basilla we are starting a Halloween to Thanksgiving Challenge on Halloween after we finish up our Labor Day to Halloween Challenge we are doing now. If you look on the weight loss discussion board you will see a thread that says Labor Day to Halloween Challenge 2015 (I believe) and I will have the link posted in there soon. 🙂
