For about two weeks now I've been trying to eat 5x a day a diet consisting of protein (meat in this case) and vegetables, as wikihow's "how to lose body fat" article suggested. This is really hard! After a couple thoughtful grocery shopping trips and cooking food daily, I've only managed to do this once, twice at the most! Mostly as a result of this poor execution, I've been stuck at this same weight for weeks despite a huge increase in activity. I'm not giving up because I really want to see what happens when you perfectly execute this diet, but that remains a significant challenge.
In the meantime whilst failing miserable at this, the last few days I've seen steady decreases in weight and waist-size. I've had a 300 cal protein bar for breakfast, a cup of oatmeal (with green or black tea and splenda which I just log as water consumption) at about the same 300 calories, and a 3-4 ounce piece of pork chop and some grilled veggies (I cooked up earlier in the week) for dinner.
That has worked. So I wanted to share. 🙂 Maybe this can help you too.
