If you set up a food plan in your dashboard you can set a weight loss goal and fitbit will tell you how many calories you can eat to meet that goal. There's a guide to setting this up here:

Personally i have a problem with a site that is able to give a flat caloric goal to eat per day. Does this website know how active the user i? Does it know tyat today he will be hardly moving while yesterday a marathon was run?
Fitbit is monitoring the activity along with calories burnt. Then adjust the cslories to eat per day so that the user will lose weight at the rate they want.
Therefore what Ftbit says you can eat will vary from day to day based on your activity.
The formula to loose weight is eat less; and be more active.
