How do you overcome the wall that makes it hard to loose weight ?

So there is that wall you hit when your trying to loose weight where you body is getting used to the workouts and what not and you were doing good on loosing weight but them all a sudden yout weight loss come to a hault so it seems super hard to loose even a pound. I been in this rutt for months and i only got 40lbs to my weight goal and i cant get out of the 190s! I need some suggestions because im loosing motivation :(.

Are you doing the same workouts everyday?  Switch it up.  I do the elliptical and the treadmill 5 days a week and if there is a Yoga class offered with the instructor that I like, I'll do that too.  Try hot yoga, that's a great calorie burner!  You can do it!!!   Smiley Happy

Don't give up! 

 

There are a few things you can do to switch up your workouts.  If you always work out to a schedule, try working out a different time of the day.  The thing that REALLY worked for me was splitting my workouts in half - instead of an hour at night I aimed to do half in the morning before work, and half in the evening on the way home.  That really kicked my metabolism up (or something).  Moreover, by aiming to do 50:50 you endup doing 70:70 and increasing the total amount of exercise you do (for example, I normally begin a working by warming up on the treadmill or elliptical for 10 mins, when I switched to doing split workouts I was doing the same warmup, so getting an extra 10 mins a day -- it all add up).

Thank you guys!!! im going to try something new today usually my workouts are mainly tredmill sometimes the bike but i think ill try a switch up. ill keep you guys updated on the results.
