Hello to All,
I have been a Fitbit member for many years, and one of the things that worked best for me is getting involved with the Fitnit community. I did have weight loss surgery in 2017, and was not able to continue my process, however, I am medically cleared to begin again. I got a new Fitbit device and got back into the community which has a De some changes. I am on a wellness program along with a Nutritionist to assist me with making health food choices, where I struggle snacking and cravings. My surgery weight was 398lbs. I went down to 270lbs after. I gained some weight back up to 300lbs, which put me into a depressing state, but I knew I needed to come back to Fitbit community, where my friends encouraged me to keep going and praised me on the little accomplishments. I am back down to 285lbs, and with my healthy food choices and exercise routines on this platform has been so helpful in my life.

I've liked the www.myfitnesspal.com app for logging my food, but it has recently changed and no longer meets my needs as well. So I'm giving my Fitbit a try for logging food and steps. Hope it helps!

I would love to use the Fitbit Android app to help manage my weight - but that implies it manages to read the weight data from Health Connect. Looking at lots of other posts, Fitbit syncing weight data from Health Connect seems like a continuous issue. Maybe fix this first and then we can talk about how one can use Fitbit to manage anyone's weight.
