How many active calories a day

I want to burn 500 active calories a day by working out. And I want to eat 2,000 calories a day 200 g of carbs 75 g of fats and 120 g of protein (give or take because I don’t specifically track). By doing so will I maintain weight? I am 120 pounds 17 years old 5 foot 7 inches. I stress about “being active enough” should I do quick morning cardio 7-10 mins and a longer workout in the afternoon? Will I stay in shape? What should I aim for to maintain my resting energy burn is 1400 calories.

Hi @Kstephens476,

What is your weight goal? It seems you might want to add some weight?

OK, got it. Your numbers sound reasonable, but you may find you'll have to make adjustments as you go. The weight scale will be your guide.

I like to do cardio at the end of lifting weights during the same session. Doing it before or earlier in the morning affected my ability to perform well later in the day.  There are some people that swear by doing cardio on an empty stomach first thing in the morning, so you could try that also.
