Just that really. How much weight do you have to lose for it to be noticeable to others? I just wonder on the vanity side of things how long it will be until people notice my hard work.
thanks 🙂

Depends on how much weight you have to lose.
5 kg loss on someone 10 kg overweight is more noticeable than a 5 kg loss on someone 30 kg overweight.
Also people might notice but not say anything.
So that you can see it yourself it can be worth taking photos once a month, it can be hard to see in the mirror.

In addition to what @SunsetRunner wrote, people who haven’t seen you in a while are more likely to notice than people who see you everyday (including yourself). As suggested, photos taken in the same place / under the same condition once a month will let you see the changes over time.

I've lost almost 30 pounds, and no one but my husband and best friend seem to notice. I've gone from 232 to 203 (5'9"), so I'm definitely overweight, but not gigantic! I keep thinking someone will notice, but to no avail. I guess I carry it in places that aren't as obvious, maybe?
