How should I track my bootcamp sessions manually or by wearing my fitbit?

Hi guys,

I have a fitbit one and am wondering what is the best/most accurate way to track my bootcamp sessions? Should I just wear my fitbit during the workout or take it off and manually add bootcamp via the activity tracker based on the time spent working out?

From what I have heard about bootcamp you will probably be better served by just entering it manually. The fitbit trackers are meant to record step based activities - boot camp has a lot of calesthenic type stuff as I understand it and the fitbit won't track that very well.

Hope this helps

I'm having a similar problem. Fitbit One doesn't record much activity/exertion after a 45-minute early morning kettlebells class that leaves me in a sweaty exhausted heap on the floor. I'm just wearing the fitbit and accepting what it tells me, since it DOES register an increased calorie burn compared to sleeping, which is what I used to be doing at that time of the day. It might be underestimating my calorie expenditure and therefore underestimating the number of calories I can eat that day. But as long as I move around a bit throughout the day after those workouts, I can eat 1400-1500 calories and that's enough to be satisfied and get all my nutrients in. It's working! 17 pounds lost as of Wednesday.
