Hi All,
I accidentally set up a calorie goal for myself which is not overwritten by my MyFitnessPal food calorie tracking and now I can't delete it. I wouldn't mind but it forces me to choose a calorie goal between 1k and 5k and my MFP goal is only 650 a day. I recently had bariatric surgery and that's an approved range by my doctor (I don't even think it will be possible to go above 1k in the next 12 months anyway).
The restriction on this tool makes it entirely useless to me but I would LOVE to be able to check at a glance how many calories I have left for the day. Is there a way to delete this goal out until a time they make it functional for us bariatric patients?
Any help would be hugely appreciated!

It can be changed under your food log: https://www.fitbit.com/foods/log#
Under food plan click right untill you see: Edit Plan. click on it.
Then you should get a pop up with weight goal and food plan. Click "Next"
Then Choose "Set my own calorie target"
That should be it.

I need to delete it out entirely. Setting a custom Goal doesn't work for me since my goal is under 1,000 calories (per my dr as I said above) and it doesn't allow for that. Anyone know how to just remove this?

If you're on the shorter/older side, you might be able to use the "harder" 1000 calorie/day deficit plan. That would require that you burn fewer than 2000 calories per day, though.

Sadly no. I honestly don't want this to calculate anything for me at all as I use MyFitnessPal to track my food and calorie goals. I just want it to reflect what I have left to burn for the day. My daily burn is around 2,600 so any setting they have won't work for me. My goal is around 800/day. At this point it's physically impossible for me to eat more. I'm just extremely annoyed they will let us remove other settings but not this one.

@DizGal- I suspect the reason is that for most people (unless under a doctor's care) eating under 1000 calories is just too low. Very low calorie diets are usually not the way to go if you want to lose weight and keep it off. If you're working on 800 then you will likely just have to set it for 1000 and know that you end the day with 200 left.

I was able to change mine to the 650 posted above without issues. I did how ever change it back to my regular settings.
