Since I got my FitBit I have been more aware of what I am eating, drinking more water and less soda. I walk 5 to 6 miles a day. My starting weight was 240lb. Over a week to two weeks time I dropped to 233.3 lbs. WHich was exciting, but I am now back to 238lb with a variance in my weight of .2 to .4 lbs. I don't get it. I have improved in all areas, but still have been unable to drop below 230 for the last 2 to 4 years. But the heaviest I will get is 243. Has been that way for the last 7 years.

Great job on your plan to get healthy. Food intake is a bigger part of weight loss than exercise. Eating healthy does not equal eating few enough calories to lose weight any more than a low calorie diet is automatically healthy( you can eat 1000 calories of potato chips or of lean protein and veggies) Get your food plan set first, 3 nutrient rich meals and planned snacks that have the correct amount of calories for you. See a registered dietician if you cannot come up with a safe and healthy food plan. Good luck
