I spend more than an hour sitting on my duff in my car getting to and from work every day - mostly highway driving, not to mention the time sitting on said duff while at work.
Does anyone have any ideas for small exercises one can do while driving... and still staying safe! Ha!
One thing I've tried... This may sound silly, but I have one of those small 3-4 pound weights in my car and I do arm curls. Then there are the butt squeezes and holding in your abs for 10 seconds at a time. Any other ideas? I figure every little bit helps.
Just feels like that hour is wasted. Appreciate any thoughts or ideas. New to Fitbit and enjoy reading everyone's posts.

I do butt squeezes and kegel exercises in the car. Haven't figured out anything else I can safely do while I'm driving.

Some might think you're nuts if you're thinking about doing ab crunches in the car (bending forward while driving). Course that's very unsafe if your car isn't parked.
But another suggestion is to find a way to maximize your driving efficiency. I'm assuming that's an hour not stuck in traffic. One benefit along my route is I'm going to a fitness center on the way to home or work. So I have a place to go for weight training or cardio training.
