I am trying to find a good home water filter/treatment system, but there are so many choices! Do you have any recommendations?

Are you sure you have the right forum?
You posted on Fitbit which is a fitness tracker and also under Mange Weight. Neither have to do with Water Filters.

you probably want to do some research based on cost, availability and a number of other factors that goes into making a purchase.

If you are just looking for something small to treat drinking water i recommend ZeroWater. It has a 5 stage resin/carbon filter that drops dissolved solids to 0 and they come with their own conductivity meter to tell you when to change filters.
Bed bath and beyond carries them.
Very nice units. You do have to buy filters to replace occasionally.

I do understand you. It is so hard to choose a good filter, when on the market there are a huge number of really bad ones. We have tried 4 different brands, all of them have broken after 1 year of using. I have small garden with rare plants and it is very important to use only high quality water for them. This spring we have found a lot of positive reviews on water filtration systems San Diego. They have very nice prices and service, we decided to try it, and we were really amazed that they did everything very quickly and on high level of quality.
