So far I've lost 78lbs and still going (shooting for 100lb mark). I'm told that my clothes are 'just hanging' off me and I have to wear an elastic belt to keep the pants/shorts up. Yes I am losing weight and inches and very happy about it!
However, I just cannot bring myself to get rid of my 'fat clothes'. Things like oversized shirts (casual, dress), pants, slacks, and the like still are in my closet and dresser drawers. I excuse this saying I can't swing a new wardrobe every time I lose a couple inches (which is true) but for some psychological reason I just can't bring myself to even pack them away. I still wear them and they just feel 'right' ya know?
Anyone going through or have dealt with this?

@FB_Opus You're allowed to gloat. You've worked hard and it shows.
Have you been able to find some new (smaller) clothes you like?
It's not easy parting with old comfy clothes.

Thanks @Odyssey13!
Yes indeed! Between Goodwill/Thrift stores, outlets, eBay, and some good ol' fashion coupon code digging at Old Navy I was able to find new clothes on the cheap.

Update:
The final 'before' clothes were donated right before the end of year ($326 deduction!).
I am now flying without a net since nothing is left of 'before' times! Motivation!
Incidently, thanks again for the advice about thrift stores. I'm now hooked on Goodwill and closet is even fuller then it was with the 'before' clothes!

@FB_OpusWay to go! I know how you feel about flying without a net. I gave away all my larger jeans and if I gain any weight, I'll have to go to Goodwill and buy them back!
Lots of good things at thrift stores and so many are brand new.
Keep on doing the good work you started!
