Hiya.
Gunna be personal but Yano I got a fit bit last Christmas now. I wear it everyday and usually go over 20,000 steps.
i recently have been noticed I am not as fit as I was and I have got a lot of fat because I started to eat carelessly when I was at school and thought it was fine because I do competitive dance. My legs at training toned very easyly and lost a lot of weight where as the upper part of my body didn’t. I have tried many diets shakes teas cleanses. Eating healthy, resurrected my eating. And currently I only eat one meal a day which isn’t ideal as I need energy and now as soon as I eat something I want to eat I see myself fat in a way even if it’s not possible. I just need help and real advice how I can actually loose this weight even though I do a lot of exercise drink water all day long and eat a small meal once a day. I currently weigh 12st and I am 17 years old. Hope someone here’s got some ideas what I could do thanks 🙂

Hi @Randomer1234,
Basically, you have to match your calories in to your calories out. It's difficult to do this unless you use the food logging features in the app or web dashboard. It can be a pain to log all that food, but if you do it for some weeks, you'll be able to tell if you're eating at a caloric surplus, deficit, or maintenance. You'll know this because your weight would go up, down, or stay the same (respectively).
Then, you can add exercise to burn additional calories or adjust calories intake, until the trend you want to see begins happening. Once you start to get the effect you're looking for, stay with that until your goal is in sight.
How many calories per day are you burning, and how many do you think you're taking in?
Personally, I don't think one meal a day is optimal. It would be difficult to get 24 hours worth of food in just one meal and have that nutritionally available.
You'll also want to look at thoughts about being fat, which is really a separate issue but will come into play to your relationship with food. Best of luck.
