Healthy eating is the biggest component of weight loss. I'm working on being more active as well, but keeping the food in line, no matter what type of day I've had, keeps me on track.
Good luck!

It’s a good idea to eat healthy (if the alternative is to eat junk), but eating healthy will only lead to weight loss if you are in a deficit (= eat less than you burn). It’s perfectly possible to gain weight while eating healthy: just eat lots of olive oil, avocados, nuts etc., all healthy foods high in calories.

eating healthy is great for health benefits but not always weight loss. You have to be aware what goes in vs what goes out. measuring, logging and counting will give you the data to know if you are going to lose weight. Otherwise you are just guessing and will make this more stressful and frustrating when results don't come. good luck!

Trying to eat healthy
Eat 5 beans salad for a week and drink only water. And walk 2 hours a day for the next 7 days and you'd lose at least 5 lbs in just 7 days. After that, eat healty regulary and stay active 2 hours a day for the next couple of months to build your endurance.

Please look up nutrition facts for that. The sodium and sugar per serving far out way any possible benefits..
One can wash away at least 50% or more of sodium from can beans. Plus, I buy no salt added beans. Also I did check nutrition label. I do that for everything I purchase to eat. My purchasing it means the sugar and sodium content pass my test. There are lots of benefits from eating beans.

I buy dried black beans- much cheaper, and easy to cook. You don't even have to soak them overnight if you don't want to; just do a quick soak and then cook them (boil for a minute, then simmer on low 1-1.5 hours). Easy and sodium-free!
