I need to find motivation for myself, but how?

ANSWERED

My motivation gets high once in a great while but I am trying to focus it into my health and I can't seem to find the motivation I am looking for.  I just sit and play games all day, and surely when my doctor said I am border line diabetic that would be motivation enough to get my butt in gear.  Yet I'm still low on motviation that today I had to force myself to get up and walk around the block.  What should I do to make this easier for myself?

Set small goals for yourself, such as 5,000 steps a day, or 30 minutes of activity, and watch your accomplishments on the tracker. Set a limit on how many minutes a day you can play games. Once you reach your goals, increase them a little bit. And, keep moving ahead.  Soon, very soon, you'll find yourself wanting to get up and get going.

Agree..start small, go slow, DON'T STOP. It will become almost automatic...patience! 🙂

Someone once told me... remember, anyone can do something for 1 minute. Just 1 minute. So just say to myself, well, 1 minute, anyone can do that. run for a minute. walk for a minute... of course you will naturally do more. but making it so silly, that you wouldnt dare say no to a minute? right?
