I think ive confused my self...

ANSWERED
To maintain my weight I would need to eat 2000 cals. To lose the 2lbs a week I want, I need to eat 1330 cals a day. I ate 1235 cals today. My exercise burned 1161 cals, leaving a remaining 1256 cals. Do I need to eat the remaining cals to keep my cal deficient number, which should be 670, where I wont put my body in starvation mode, instead of burning fat mode. Or am I just thinking way into this.

Don't eat them. You won't go into "starvation mode" unless your caloric deficit is very low for a very long time.

I don't know - I would follow the guidelines, assuming you've got it set up well in the first place.

You didn't say how much weight you have to lose, but I have seen A LOT of people break plateus by upping their caloric intake.  By the same token, I've seen people struggle because they've cut their calories too much, and they also lose quite a bit of muscle.

Why don't you try following what the plan says for a few weeks and see how it goes?

Lady,

Eat quality food veggies and lean protein. Don't eat extra cals if you are wanting to lose weight. 2000 -750 cals=1250 a day and that will help you lose 1.5 lbs a week. Not smart to eat much less for a long time.

Enjoy the journey.  Measure as well since the fat is burned and the muscles get built so scale may not show the loss as you build muscle.

Happy health journey,

Barb

What did you use to generate the numbers?

If its telling you to eat more, you probably need to eat more
