If you are looking for motivation . . .

As long as I have been doing it, I don't really like exercising, I just like how I feel after I do it.  So how to keep motivated?  Well, we have a bunch of exercise machines in the back of our theatre room.  There is a 100+ inch tv in front.  I tried telling myself I could only watch tv while I ran.  Well, that didn't work, because I watched tv sometimes while I was knitting. And baseball season has started,  But I found the perfect motivator.

I watch My 600 lb Life while I run.  I turn the volume up, but I also turn on the closed captioning.  I have a remote on the treadmill, and I can fast forward through commercials.  If that is too much, you can buy the series from Amazon, and it will just play one after the other, with no commercials.  Since an hour long tv show is about 45 minutes without the commercials, I can run for 30 minutes, and then watch the remainder while I cool down and change my shoes.

Anyone else watch TV while you exercise?  What works?

I remember a gym I attended a couple years ago, they had a treadmill where you had to walk to turn on the tv.

One day I was walking for about 2 hours since I was watching a Modern Family marathon Smiley LOL
