Is it possible to instantly set-up or import a weekly meal plan directly into Fitbit - that meets diet goals e.g. calorie limit, low carb, no saturated fats?

Not sure it addresses your question (as I’m not using it), but many people use MyFitnessPal for logging their food, and then link it to their Fitbit account. As I understand it, MFP is more flexible than Fitbit for food.

Take a look at the Fitbit help site for further assistance and information.

^^^This.
The food database in MyFitnessPal is so much better than the one in Fitbit... AND you can log your meals ahead of time.
So for someone who has a tendency to eat more than they want to.. one option is to log their entire day's worth of food for tomorrow. Plan out each and every meal, snack, etc, and log it ahead of time. This way, you eat to what you planned to eat, and nothing more... rather than eating first, then logging after and seeing that you're over budget for the day.
