I want to start a small group for just 5-10ish people maybe more.
I've joined a few groups but I always feel like I get lost in the crowd. There is less accountability, at least for me, when there's a couple hundred people involved.
It doesn't matter to me sex, age, or specific goals because struggling to get healthy is something everyone can relate to and those differences don't stop people from supporting each other.
I'll make it invite only specifically because the point is to keep it small. Please reply here if you would like to be invited or send me a private message.

Hi there, I just started today as well. I need a buddy. I quit smoking about 5 years ago using an online forum. I needed the same accountablility you just mentioned. Well I successfully quit, but gained 40lbs and I wasn't a skinny minnie before then. I could use a buddy. Someone to keep me accountable. My name is susan

I am in, I ike the small group concept.
I have been using a FB for over a year and love it. I am working on a healthy life style change and reaching my goal weight. I most want my goal weight to be my stable weight. The FB keeps me motivated and accountable. I am looking forward to sharing with the other members.

I went to the link, but I do not see where I can request to be added to the group? I was reading the posts and trying to comment but did not see an option to do that. Thanks!

Hello all.
I got my fitbit a couple months ago but so far it's been an expensive decoration on my wrist.
I'd like to really give the fit life a try (or at least a jumpstart) and I'm ready to support some peers.
See you around!
Carlos

Start by setting a daily step goal. I started with 3000 and slowly progressed to 10,000 +.
Then decide what actions you are going to take, walk, run, stairs, or gym to meet your goal.
If by 4:30 I have not met my goal, I get up and start moving.
Hope this helps
