I saw how to lose weight lose eating cake on my YouTube today. it seems legit but I want to know your thoughts?

Terrible video. Sure you can eat cake if you're on a diet but this guy makes it sound like you could successfully survive eating only high sugar food and junk every day.
Your health would deteriorate.

I just finsihed watching it. it turns out he's not 100% into cake. he does mention you still need to eat cleaner to be succesful

Oh man, I wish I could really loose weight eating cake, I love sweets! 🍰
That's true @marycole, it seems he does need to combine it with cleaner food options. This is very important for every diet, even when trying to gain some weight for muscle mass.
Probably the best way to go is to always include healthy options, and just leave a little space in the diet to eat something we really love every once in a while, depending on our goals it could be once or twice a week while following the food plan for the rest of the day. This really worked for me at least 😁

Rule of thumb: if it sounds too good to be true, it’s probably not legit. Weight loss is not rocket science: it’s simple, though not easy. Better rely on evidence-based knowledge than put faith on extravagant claims.
